Help · AI assistants
Use Management OS in Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants.
Sellers score a deal before the pipeline review. Leaders inspect deals and plan the next coaching 1:1. Both without leaving the assistant they already use. Management OS connects through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You sign in once with your Management OS account. Every tool is read-only.
Before you start
- A Management OS account on a plan with agent use: an agent plan, or an app package with Agent Access. See the ways to buy.
- An assistant that supports remote MCP servers. The setup for each one is below.
- Your deal evidence: a CRM opportunity record, call notes or transcripts, email threads or notes. Share it in the chat, or let your assistant include it from sources it can already reach.
What you can do
Score a deal
score_deal · 5 credits (a Deal Read)
An evidence-cited read on one deal: the forecast call, the risks most likely to lose or slip it, next moves with owners and dates, questions to ask the buyer, and where your sources disagree. Every scored point quotes the evidence you shared. Takes one to three minutes.
Coach a rep
coach_rep · 3 credits (a Coaching Plan)
The likely cause of a rep's performance gap, interventions in order, how to run the next 1:1, what to say, and a check on your own coaching bias. Takes about a minute.
Explain what Management OS evaluates
explain_canon · Free
Plain-language summaries of the standards Management OS scores against and how it handles your data.
Get agent activity
get_usage · Free
Your workspace's Management OS agent calls by tool, with outcomes, and your credit balance.
Try one of these once you're connected:
- “Use Management OS to score this deal. [paste the CRM record and your call notes]”
- “Use Management OS to help me coach a rep who is behind on quota.”
- “What does Management OS evaluate on a deal?”
No tool sends messages, changes CRM records or deletes anything. Ask your assistant to draft a message and you send it.
What Management OS adds to your assistant
- Proof on every point. Each scored point rests on a word-for-word quote from your evidence. Points the scoring passes disagree on are scored conservatively, and every read is checked automatically before it reaches you.
- One standard for every deal. The same 15 factors of opportunity health for every deal and every rep, so one rep's Commit means the same as another's.
- Built for whoever owns the number. Coaching for the leader: the likely cause of a rep's gap, the interventions in order, the words for your next 1:1 and a check on your own coaching bias.
- Context from the app. If the deal is in Management OS, say so and the read adds its synced CRM record. In the app, Management OS also keeps deal pages, contact dossiers and meeting prep current from your CRM and connected tools. See the app.
Try it on a sample deal
Everything in this deal is made up: the company, the people and the numbers. Once Management OS is connected, copy it into your assistant. The read takes one to three minutes and uses 5 credits.
Use Management OS to score this deal. Deal: Tallowmere Logistics - Dispatch Platform Account: Tallowmere Logistics Amount: $184,000 Stage: Negotiation Close date: 2026-10-31 Evidence 1. Salesforce opportunity record, updated Oct 10 Stage: Negotiation. Forecast category: Commit. Amount: $184,000 ARR (3-year term). Close date: 2026-10-31. Owner: Sam Ortega. Champion: Dana Whitfield, VP Operations. Decision maker: Marcus Lee, CFO. Competitor: Brindlepath; current process runs on spreadsheets. Next step: Send final order form. CFO signature expected this week. Last activity: Oct 6 pricing call. Evidence 2. Gong transcript, pricing call, Oct 6 Sam Ortega: Thanks for making time, Dana. You've seen the final pricing. Where do we stand? Dana Whitfield: I'm all in on this. My dispatch team is begging for it. We lose two or three hours a day rebuilding routes by hand. Sam Ortega: Great. Has Marcus seen the number? Dana Whitfield: Marcus hasn't seen the final number yet. I'll walk him through it after our board meeting on the 22nd. Sam Ortega: Can we get this signed by the 31st? Dana Whitfield: That's the goal. I can't promise it. Security still needs to sign off. Priya's team has the questionnaire. Sam Ortega: Anything else that could get in the way? Dana Whitfield: Brindlepath came in about thirty percent lower. Marcus will ask about that, and I need a better answer than features. Sam Ortega: Understood. I'll send the order form Monday. Evidence 3. Gmail thread, "Re: Order form and security questionnaire", Oct 9 to 10 Priya Raman (IT Security), Oct 9: Sam, we received the security questionnaire. Our review queue is running about three weeks right now. We'll reach out with questions. Dana Whitfield, Oct 10: Sam, quick heads-up. Marcus asked whether this can come out of the Q1 budget instead of this year's. I told him I'd find out what that does to pricing. Can you send options? Evidence 4. Rep notes, Oct 10 Dana is a strong champion and wants this badly. Haven't met Marcus yet. Plan: send order form Monday, push for signature by 10/31. Feeling good, 90%.
What to look for in the read:
- The forecast call. The CRM says Commit and the rep says 90%. The buyer's own words say the CFO hasn't seen the number.
- The quote under each risk, so you can check it yourself.
- Where the sources disagree, and which of the 15 factors have no evidence yet.
Then ask for the coaching:
Use Management OS to help me coach Sam on this. Three of his five Commit deals slipped last quarter. None of those three had a meeting with the economic buyer before Commit; both deals that closed did. I already told him to be more conservative, and he committed this one at 90% the next week.
That's a coaching plan (3 credits): the likely cause, the interventions in order and what to say in the next 1:1.
Then try it on your own deal
- Pick a deal you're about to forecast or review.
- Gather what you have on it: the CRM opportunity record, the latest call notes or transcript, the email thread with the buyer and your own notes. Paste each one as it is and say where it came from. Don't summarize: the read quotes your evidence, so the buyer's own words matter.
- Ask “Use Management OS to score this deal” and paste the evidence.
More sources make a sharper read. Each of the 15 factors needs evidence, and the read names the ones that have none. A read includes up to 10,000 words of evidence. If your assistant can already reach your CRM or email, ask it to include them.
Share only what you're comfortable sending. The evidence is used for that call only. What data is shared.
Credits
Work made in an assistant uses the same credits as work made in the app, from one balance shared by your workspace. A deal read is 5 credits and a coaching plan 3 credits. Each includes up to 10,000 words of evidence; each further 10,000 words adds 1 credit.
Conversation with your assistant is free, and so is anything that errors: the credits come back automatically. Ask “What's my Management OS usage?” to see your balance. Unused credits roll over month to month. The full menu is on the pricing page.
On the Monthly, Annual and Founding Cohort plans, work in the app isn't counted. Work in an assistant uses credits, which an admin adds as packs in Settings, then Credits.

In Gemini on the web, open Settings, then Connected apps (on some accounts it sits under Personal Intelligence), then select Add a custom app, paste the server URL and sign in. Work and school accounts can't add custom apps yet.
Gemini CLI: add this to ~/.gemini/settings.json, then run /mcp auth management-os:
{
"mcpServers": {
"management-os": { "httpUrl": "https://app.mgmt-os.ai/api/mcp" }

Hermes Agent
Add the server to ~/.hermes/config.yaml:
mcp_servers:
management-os:
url: "https://app.mgmt-os.ai/api/mcp"
auth: oauthThen run hermes mcp login management-os and sign in.
OpenClaw
openclaw mcp set management-os '{"url":"https://app.mgmt-os.ai/api/mcp","transport":"streamable-http","auth":"oauth"}'
openclaw mcp login management-osThe second command opens the Management OS sign-in.
Other MCP clients
Cursor, VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex and other clients that support remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth can connect with the server URL above. Sign-in works through a Client ID Metadata Document or Dynamic Client Registration, whichever your client supports.
Sign-in and access
- You sign in on the Management OS sign-in page. The assistant receives an access token, never your password.
- The assistant asks for your basic profile and email (the openid, profile and email scopes) to identify your account.
- Access is limited to your workspace and your seat.
Disconnect
Remove Management OS in your assistant's connector settings. To also revoke access from our side, email support@mgmt-os.ai.
If something doesn't work
- “This sign-in has no Management OS workspace yet”: finish setting up your account at app.mgmt-os.ai, then reconnect.
- “This workspace doesn't have an active Management OS plan”: choose a plan in Settings, then Billing.
- “Needs Agent Access on this plan”: an admin adds Agent Access in Settings, then Billing.
- “Needs N credits and your workspace has M left”: add a credit pack in Settings, then Billing, or wait for next month's credits.
- “Isn't enabled for this workspace yet”: agent access is opening in stages. Email support to request it.
- The assistant doesn't use Management OS: name it in your request, for example “Use Management OS to score this deal.”
- Sign-in loops or fails: remove the connector, add it again and sign in with the same email you use for Management OS.
